Born and brought up in Delhi, Ekta has had the quintessential upbringing of a Delhite. Growing up in a methodical, balanced and disciplined environment, she was always intrigued by the lesser delved into, subtle dimensions of life. This streak has made her introspect, observe and appreciate intricate details about people and situations that usually go unnoticed. After her schooling from Springdales School and graduation from St. Stephens College, Delhi, she went on to pursue a Masters in Business Administration from Birla Institute of management Technology. Her creativity found an outlet in a career in Real Estate Development for over a decade, before she decided to experiment with teaching, meditation and writing.
Her First Book Titled- Let Go Of Me, is a work of fiction and reveals the web of complex, dynamic human emotions, which eventually find grounding in spiritiuality. Her second book Kailavaya-A Fire Within. delves into the subject of Karma and Liberation in a fictional format and has received recognition in the literary community. Kaal…life after all my deaths, is her third book. Through this work, she asks difficult questions and talks uninhibitedly about difficult topics of death and life after death and whether Moksha is actually the final destination. This is also a work of fiction.
She now trains young, evolving minds in the fields of Creative Writing and English communication skills. She is also a Meditation teacher and a keen practitioner.
She finds satisfaction in pushing her limits in her daily workout sessions and is an avid wild life enthusiast.
She lives in Noida, with her husband, Deepak and son, Manas.
